VISION
To evolve into an inter-institutional platform for research on issues relating to philosophy of education, culture and cognition
MISSION
- To develop higher-education research as a focus area
- To provide models for research-intensive pedagogy, assessment and curriculum design
- To develop strong links between the practice and philosophy of education
GOALS
- Establishing a Higher Education Resource Cell with specific emphasis on developing regional language resources for higher education
- Incubating and supporting research in the area of Comparative Philosophy of Education
- Developing a precedent model for peer-to-peer learning and continuous learning by designing college and university-level interventions
- Establishing an Inter-University Consortium for higher education research, pedagogic reform and policy analysis
- Establishing a Masters and a Doctoral Programme in Philosophy of Education
