VISION

To evolve into an inter-institutional platform for research on issues relating to philosophy of education, culture and cognition

MISSION

• To develop higher-education research as a focus area
• To provide models for research-intensive pedagogy, assessment and curriculum design
• To develop strong links between the practice and philosophy of education

GOALS

• Establishing a Higher Education Resource Cell with specific emphasis on developing regional language resources for higher education
• Incubating and supporting research in the area of Comparative Philosophy of Education
• Developing a precedent model for peer-to-peer learning and continuous learning by designing college and university-level interventions
• Establishing an Inter-University Consortium for higher education research, pedagogic reform and policy analysis
• Establishing a Masters and a Doctoral Programme in Philosophy of Education
